We're really sorry that you've been inconvenienced in this way and have made a reference in our testing procedures. The issue came about because we needed to change our existing LDAP libraries to resolve a number of other customer reported problems. Although we go to great pains to ensure backwards compatibility from release to release, in this case, this slipped through the net. We didn't raise it in the documentation because the component is so low-level we didn't expect the change to be visible to customers. With hindsight that was a mistake, we hold our hands up. We realise it won't help you now but we have created a code fix for this problem should other customers come across it.

Hi Alf, Thanks. I appreciate that this was a minor bug and I would not like to be too negative considering it was an otherwise problem free upgrade. A Knowledgebase article would have been useful to negate the requirement of contacting Clearswift technical support and waiting for a solution from them - which did resolved the issue after a short delay.

Edge Server is a great product and it is excellent that Clearswift offer it free to existing SMTP customers. I use it and it has improved the solution greatly. Thank you.
